Retired — Nox's former dedicated research mode
Nox Agent 1.2 was the dedicated research mode in Nox. It planned multi-step research runs and returned answers with cited resource cards. The research mode was discontinued on September 23, 2026; Plan mode with live web access is now the way to get cited research.
Agent 1.2 ran a different loop from the conversational models. Given a question, it first decided what needed checking, worked through those steps, and assembled its findings into a direct answer followed by openable resource cards. Every card showed the material's title, source, and a link to the original.
Its source access was plan-dependent: on MAX, Agent searched the live web for current material; on Pro, it ran deep research across Nox's curated health sources. In both modes it produced an answer with attached sources.
Agent also included Doctor Finder, a structured clinician-search flow that returned results as scannable cards.
Like every Nox consumer model, Agent ran behind Leo, the deterministic safety layer whose measured recall and false-positive rate are published from a generated evaluation.
